Desires of your Heart

So...to give an update on where we are with this fertility cycle, we are 5 or 6 days post ovulation. Im sure that doesn't mean much to most, but to me its the offical count down to knowing if we are expecting. When will we know if we are expecting??? The answer...maybe next Thursday! I have much hope that this could be our month but I also dread taking a pregnancy test as well because I hate to be disapointed if its negative. I know when the time is right we will be pregnant again. How can I know this for sure you ask??? Its a promise of God. Psalm 37:4

Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart.

I know this verse is true because, I have four beautiful kids all of which were the desires of my heart.
That is proof enough for me.

Its Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines Day to all of my friends and family! This year Scott gave me some beautiful pink tulips! He also made us dinner reservations for last Saturday night. I got him a card and some chocolate covered strawberry's. We got the kids each a stuffed animal and candy. Caleb a bumble bee. Christa and Chelsea got dogs and Colton got a frog. Green is Colton's FAVORITE color. Happy Valentines Day everyone!

Super Bowl Sunday!

Today our City is privileged to welcome the Super Bowl to town!!! We will not be going out for any festivities but rather stay home and have a party at our house! Needless to say with the Super Bowl in town there is a lot of traffic and the restaurants are PACKED...I heard 3 hour wait times at some of the downtown locations. I guess that is unless you are a celebrity then you can get through the back door. There are plenty of celebrities to go around this weekend, as I watched the news last night they were reporting live from a local night club and they had the RED CARPET rolled out waiting on Jamie Fox, and Adam Sandler. There are so many parties going on its unbelievable, but as for us we will party here with family and friends! I will try to post pics later tonight. Who am I pulling for you ask??? The Steeler's...why I have no idea. I guess I have to pull for somebody and since the Cowboys are not in it... then Steeler's it is!!!!

The Super Bowl game was ok but the party at my house with family was SUPER!

A Texas ICE DAY!

Today the Dallas streets are filled with ICE. No Snow but ICE. The roads are not good. So what does this mean for me??? A beautiful, much needed day of rest complete with having my husband home to help! Its very rare that my husband's workplace is closed. Having Scott home today was a blessing! So the city is pretty much shut down and we are all at home cozy and warm enjoying our extra family time!
